Afghanistan appoints 15-member delegation for the talks with Taliban
Afghanistan has appointed a 15-member delegation for the talks with the Taliban group, the State Ministry of Peace Affairs said.

According to a statement released by State Minister of Peace Affairs, the government has done its best to consider social and ethnic diversity in the delegation.
The statement further added that the delegation is fully prepared to start talks with the Taliban and defend the Islamic Republic values of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the U.S. envoy for Afghan Peace Ambassador Zalmay Khalizad had earlier said the US and Afghanistan have agreed on next steps. And a negotiating team and technical support group are being finalized.
He left for Doha after concluding his trip to Afghanistan and having a brief stopover in Pakistan.
Ambassador Khalilzad further added “In Doha, if the Taliban do their part, we will do ours, and conclude the agreement we have been working on.”
