AVA- According to the office of the national Security Council, Mr Mohib will meet with high-level security officials of Uzbekistan to discuss the peace process, regional cooperation, counter terrorism and counter narcotics.
The two sides are also expected to review progress of the Bilateral Security Commission (an action-oriented joint security cooperation mechanism between the two countries), the statement added.
The visit comes as Taliban said in a statement that Uzbek foreign minister Abdul Aziz Kamelov had met with Mullah Baradar, the deputy to the Taliban group.
