Eight die in Badakhshan natural disaster

Two more were injured in the incident which happened in Raghistan district in the remote province, the district governor said.
The official said that the incident was a landslide which happened as the victims were searching for gold.
Abdullah Naji Nazari, a provincial council member, however, said that the incident was snow avalanche.
The incident comes nearly two weeks after 30 gold miners were killed in landslide in Kohistan district of Badakhshan.
