AVA- Iranian official Mohammad Reza Maleki said that construction of the faculty is slated to start as of first month of the Iranian calendar year Farvardin (March 21-April 20).
During the signing ceremony, Maleki donated some 2,300 titles of textbooks to the Kabul University, saying that such cooperation will continue in future.
He further noted that the subjects of the books include humanities, anthropology, literature, social sciences, economy, management and computer.
Iran’s Cultural Office in its 13-year life-time has had close cooperation with the university in various fields including holding refreshing courses, dispatching instructors.
He also said that first round of cultural dialogues was held in Kabul University while the second round to be attended by chancellors of 12 state-run and private universities in Afghanistan is slated to be hosted by Zahedan, Iran and the third will be held in Afghanistan in June.
Farooqi, for his part, said that he is pleased to have signed the agreement to construct Persian language and literature faculty.
