The allegations had been surfaced in the media last week, triggering investigations both by FIFA and Afghan authorities.
Afghanistan Football Federation has rejected the allegations as baseless. It said that it had “zero-tolerance policy towards any such type of behaviour”.
Earlier, Jamshid Rasooli, a spokesman for the attorney general’s office said that the probe committee, led by deputy of the attorney general, would seriously act with people who are involved.
President Ashraf Ghani has also reacted saying he cannot tolerate “immorality.” The officials' suspention was reported by his adviser Fazl Fazly.
