Government forces have killed 16 militants affiliated with Taliban and sized some of their arms and ammunition over the past 24 hours in Afghanistan's Ghor province, an army statement released here said Friday.

AVA- The fighting, according to the statement happened in Charsada district of the province, a neighboring district to provincial capital Firoz Koah, leaving up to 16 militants dead and a quantity of arms and ammunition seized by security forces.
