Afghanistan draw against India as Shahzad shines with ton
Afghanistan drew their last Asia Cup match against defending champions and finalists India in Dubai on Tuesday, in what was considered a boost to their morale.

Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, Afghanistan posted 252-8 as they played all the mandated overs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Mohammad Shahzad shined with the bat as he blasted 124 off 116 balls. He was declared Man of the Match.
Mohammad Nabi was the next major contributor with his 64 off 56 balls.
In reply, India also made 252 before Rashid Khan removed their last batsman Ravindra Jadeja with one ball left.
Their openers Lokesh Rahul and Ambati Rayudu made 60 and 57 each respectively. Dinesh Karthik scored 44.
For India, Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets. Aftab Alam, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan claimed two wickets each for Afghanistan.
Afghanistan ended their campaign in the tournament after two wins and two losses. Their two defeats came by small margins.
“When you tie with a team like India, it’s like winning,” captain Asghar Afghan said.
