AVA- In his last meeting scheduled for his visit to Kabul, Abbas Araqchi had a meeting with Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday.
The two sides stressed the expansion of ties in trade, transportation, as well as financial and banking relations.
Referring to the historical record of the two countries, especially in the past 40 years, Iranian deputy foreign minister said Iran has always used pattern of cooperation in dealing with the problems of Afghanistan and the issues between the two neighbors.
Araqchi and Ghani once again stressed that they are determined to fight the terrorists and that coordination is highly necessary in this regard.
Iranian deputy foreign minister arrived in Kabul on Tuesday and discussed important economic and political issues with Afghanistan's Chief Executive of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah, Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani, National Security Advisor Hamdullah Moheb, and Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Hekmat Karzai.
He also attended the trilateral meeting between Iran, India and Afghanistan regarding the Iranian Persian Gulf Port Chabahar.
The trilateral meeting was proposed after the cooperation agreement was signed by Iran, India and Afghanistan on Chabahar Port in 2016. Kabul's talks were the first round of the meetings.
