Tehran hosts 1st int'l gas exhibition

AVA- Over 70 Iranian and foreign companies are participating in this event, Tehran Times reported.
The exhibition serves as a platform to introduce Iran's gas industry and its potentials, the report said, adding that it also facilitates communication among Iranian and foreign industrialists.
Iran is also seeking to attract foreign investments and technology transfer to improve its position as an energy hub in the region.
The show encompasses gas industry's specialized sectors including drilling and exploration, gas supply, storage, distribution and transmission, technology and training, detection and evaluation, health, safety and environment.
