Qatar, US naval forces carry out joint exercise

AVA- The Qatar Amiri Naval Forces (QANF) have carried out a joint exercise with the US Navy in the Qatari territorial waters. The exercise aims to raise the efficiency of ship crews and standardise concepts. The programme involved joint maneuvers and other combat exercises during which a large number of naval patrols received training in communications, besides monitoring of sea and air targets and sub-surface targets. The exercise comes within the framework of agreements between Qatar and the US in the field of military training and planning.
