Suicide attack rocks Helmand in South of Afghanistan
A suicide bomb blast went off in Afghanistan's southern province of Helmand on Saturday, injuring at least four people, an official said.

A suicide attack rocked the Helmand province in South of Afghanistan amid reports a security check post has been targeted.

The incident has taken place in the vicinity of Nad-e-Ali district of the province but there are no reports available regarding the casualties.

the explosion happened after the car bomb was detected by forces who opened fire at it.

The explosion left two police and two army soldiers injured, according to the official.

There was no immediate comment from militant groups on the incident.

It comes a day after four people were killed while 13 more wounded in a car bombing in Kandahar city.
