Afghanistan army chief Gen. Mohammad Sharif Yaftali has discussed military-to-military cooperation with his Indian counterpart.
AVA- Yaftali traveled to India to attend the graduation ceremony of Afghan officers from an Indian Military Training Centre.
According to a statement from the Indian military’s media wing, Gen. Yaftali laid a wreath of flower on the memorial of Indian soldiers who died in battle fields.
Military cooperation and strategic relations were discussed during the meeting, the statement said.
According to Indian media, Gen. Yaftali paid tribute to fallen soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti on Monday.
Yaftali was the reviewing officers of the 12th passing out parade at Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya where a total of 166 gentleman cadets were commissioned as officers in the army.
