AVA_ Abe is "viciously slandering the DPRK's steps of bolstering its military capability for self-defense," KCNA quoted a spokesman for the National Peace Committee of Korea as saying on Wednesday
The Japanese government is "taking the lead in following the U.S. moves to impose sanctions and pressure on the DPRK," the spokesman said.
"Prime Minister Abe, Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga, Defense Minister Inada and other heavyweights of Japan vied with each other to attend official and unofficial meetings such as G7 summit to vociferate about 'nuclear threat from North Korea,'" the spokesman added.
