North Korea held a nuclear attack simulation exercise
According to Reuters, North Korea's army has conducted nuclear counter-attack simulation exercises in response to joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Reuters reported on Monday night, April 22, that the country has tested the national nuclear management system under the name "Nuclear Trigger".

According to this report, North Korean artillery forces were present in these exercises with the aim of strengthening their nuclear capabilities.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has also overseen nuclear counter-attack simulation exercises.

Based on the information, the North Korean forces have used practice nuclear warheads in this exercise.

It should be mentioned that Pyongyang held a tactical nuclear strike drill a few months ago and simulated an attack on South Korea's command centers and air bases.

Despite the reactions of countries, especially the United States, North Korea has increased its military exercises and weapons testing.

This is despite the fact that a few days ago, Linda Thomas Greenfield, the representative of the United States in the United Nations, said that her country is looking to impose new sanctions on Pyongyang.

Greenfield stated that the purpose of these sanctions was to limit North Korea's nuclear and missile activities.

According to him, Washington wants to replace the group of experts overseeing the sanctions against North Korea, who have been overseeing this matter for the past 15 years, with efforts inside and outside the United Nations.

Meanwhile, the Japanese media reported on Monday, quoting the country's officials, that a ballistic missile had been launched from North Korea towards the Sea of Japan.
