Russia's reaction to America's veto of Palestine's membership in the United Nations

Nebenzia pointed out that the issue is actually a very simple question: do the Palestinians deserve to be in the world family and fully participate in all decisions of international life?, adding: When Israel is admitted to the United Nations, when dozens of countries are freed. were accepted from the oppression of Western colonialism, the same question was always answered with consensus, But now American colleagues acted differently in dealing with Palestine.
 
According to him, Washington showed its true attitude towards the suffering Palestinian nation by using the veto right for the fifth time since the escalation of conflicts in the Gaza Strip.
 
This Russian diplomat explained: "From the point of view of the Washington authorities, they do not deserve to have their own independent country." The Palestinian people are the only obstacle to the realization of Israel's interests. That is why the United States is ready to turn a blind eye to all Israeli crimes against civilians in Gaza and to the end to not notice the expansion of illegal Jewish settlements in the West Bank."
 
According to Nebenzia, the goal is to break the will of the Palestinians, to force them to surrender unconditionally to the occupying power, to turn them into servants and second-class citizens, and even to remove them and expel them from their homeland.
 
He added that such a policy is only counterproductive. The vast majority of the international community supports Palestine's request for full membership in the World Organization, and the suffering of Palestinian civilians resonates in the hearts and souls of millions of people around the world.
