The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) for Afghanistan has announced that there is a possibility of an increase in the number of recent avalanche casualties in Nuristan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The agency said on the X network that the number of victims of this snowmobile is expected to increase, because many people are still missing.

According to Mulla Janan Saiq, Head of Communications and Public Relations of the Ministry of Combating Natural Disasters of the Islamic Emirate, this incident took place in Tetarin Valley of Noorgram district, so far 25 bodies have been found and 8 people have been injured.

WFP said he is assessing the situation to send food aid, but the threat of fresh avalanches has hampered relief efforts.
