Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Following the visit of officials from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bamyan Province and the announcement of readiness to help the displaced people of Balkhab, Seyyed Hassan Mortazavi; the deputy of the Iranian embassy in Kabul announced today, Wednesday (July 6), about the shipment of this country's aid to Balkhab.
Mr. Mortazavi announced: In continuation of the Islamic Republic of Iran's aid to the people of Afghanistan, this time food aid will be sent to 500 needy families in Balkhab.
Officials of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran said on their trip to Bamyan province last Tuesday (July 5) that they are ready to cooperate in providing raw materials, food and health to the displaced people of Balkhab.
It should be mentioned that last week after the conflict between the forces of the Islamic Emirate and Maulvi Mehdi Mujahid in Balkhab district, a large number of families in this area were displaced from their homes and took refuge in the mountainous areas and border areas of Bamiyan.
It has been said that the situation of the displaced people of Balkhab is extremely alarming and dire. These displaced people do not have access to any of the basic food and health facilities.
It should be noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran had helped the victims of this incident with dozens of tons of food and health materials in the past two weeks after the earthquake in Khost and Paktika provinces.
