Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Bamyan: Takayoshi Kurumiya, the ambassador of Japan to Afghanistan, met Mawlavi Abdullah Sarhadhi, the governor of this province, during his trip to Bamyan province.
In this meeting, security, economic issues, the implementation of infrastructure projects and the continuation of cooperation between the Japanese government and Afghanistan were discussed.
Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadhi, the governor of Bamyan, requested the continuation of friendly relations between the two countries and expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of the Japanese government in the implementation of development projects and reconstruction of old areas in this province.
He also demanded the implementation of infrastructure projects and the continuation of humanitarian aid and the establishment of industrial factories by Japan in this province.
Takayoshi Kurumiya, the ambassador of the Japanese government, also said in this meeting that the Japanese government welcomes the friendly relations between the two countries and continues to provide humanitarian aid and other cooperation to Afghanistan, especially Bamyan province.
He stated that the government and people of Japan are still determined to have comprehensive and serious cooperation in the implementation of development projects and the reconstruction of the old and ancient areas of Bamyan Province.
The Ambassador of Japan expressed his appreciation for the caretaker government's efforts in ensuring people's security, eradicating the cultivation, sale and use of drugs and the targeted fight against administrative corruption in the country.
Mr. Takayoshi Kurumiya assured the people of Afghanistan of the continued cooperation and humanitarian assistance of the Japanese government and said that the Japanese government, along with continuing its cooperation with the government and people of Afghanistan, is trying to strengthen the relations of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with other countries in the region and the world.
