Holding a book fair in Ghazni with the aim of promoting the culture of reading among youth
The Ministry of Information and Culture has announced the holding of a book exhibition under the name "Take a book, leave a book" in Ghazni province and added that the purpose of this exhibition is to promote and encourage young people to read.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Information and Culture today (Monday) published a newsletter on page X and said that this two-day book exhibition entitled (Get a book, leave a book) was an initiative of the Directorate of Information and Farhang Ghazni was opened by the officials of this department.
Officials said that the purpose of holding this exhibition is to promote the culture of reading and encourage young people to study.
It is stated in the newsletter that this two-day book exhibition was held in collaboration with the public library and Al-Biruni University of Technology related to the Department of Information and Culture.
Maulvi Hamidullah Nisar, head of information and culture of Ghazni province, said at the opening of this exhibition that this department is trying to provide a complete infrastructure for reading culture for young people.
Feda Mohammad Mohammadi, the president of Al-Biruni Technical University of Ghazni, considered holding book exhibitions useful in promoting the culture of reading and encouraging students to study, and also added that the participants can exchange their own books with the books of the exhibition.
It should be noted that various religious, cultural, literary, social and economic books have been displayed in the said exhibition.
