"What we need as an Ummah is to increase vigilance against the enemy to counter its threat," he added.

"The Israeli aggression against Gaza does not exclude any side," al-Houthi said.

"Being "civilian" does not prevent the Zionist enemy from aggressing, and this enemy has targeted even journalists, doctors, teachers, students and all members of society," he said.

Yemeni sources said on Thursday that the US-British coalition had launched airstrikes on the northern cities of Sanaa and Saada.

The official Yemeni news agency Sabant reported that invading fighters carried out three airstrikes east of Sanaa. The US-British coalition fighter jets bombed the northern, eastern, western and southern areas of the northern Yemeni city of Saada, the Al-Mayadin news agency said.
