The Secretary General of the Organization once again called for a ceasefire on the one year anniversary of the Gaza war
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called for peace in Gaza and Lebanon in a video message today on the eve of the one year anniversary of the Gaza war.

Guterres's statements come at a time when Israel has ignored the UN Security Council resolution on the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza in the past months and continues to relentlessly attack the people of Gaza. The attacks that left more than 41,800 martyrs, mostly women and children, and about 100,000 wounded, displaced almost the entire population of this besieged region and caused a severe shortage of safe water, food, and medicine. The crimes that Israel has committed are facing a genocide case in the International Court of Justice.
