Iranian officials: 700 Iranian trucks have been stuck in Afghanistan since 9 days

The governor of Taibad said: In order to solve the transportation problems, several meetings have been held at the Dogharon border customs with the presence of the economic activists of Iran and Afghanistan and the authorities in charge, one of the provisions of which was to remove the forced stop of Iranian trucks in Afghanistan, but so far no action has been taken. It has not been done by the Afghan authorities.
 
Shirdal added: The Herat and Islam Qala customs authorities have prioritized the departure of the export and transit fleet from the Islam Qala border of Afghanistan to the Dogharon border during the day with Afghan trucks in order to help more of their fleets move.
 
He added: the lack of necessary infrastructure in Afghanistan's transportation sector, especially the lack of comfort facilities at the Islam Qala Customs for Iranian drivers, improper treatment of them, leaving cars in non-standard parking lots of this country, the possibility of some possible accidents and to the end Validity of their visas is one of the other problems that the long stoppage of Iranian trucks has doubled these problems and the desire of this hardworking group to continue their activities in this sector has decreased.
 
It should be mentioned that the border of Islam Qala in Herat province is one of the most important ports in the country, where millions of tons of goods are imported and exported from this port every year.
