Hamas: Netanyahu is preventing a ceasefire agreement
Ezzat al-Rashq, a member of the Hamas political office, described the claim of the Zionist regime's prime minister as absurd and baseless this morning (Tuesday, July 30).
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "Izzat al-Rashq", a member of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement "Hamas", identified the Zionist regime as the culprit for not reaching a cease-fire agreement and exchange of prisoners in Gaza.

Al-Rashq said on Tuesday morning: "What the Prime Minister of Israel claims that Hamas is an obstacle to the agreement is absurd and baseless."

Al-Jazeera channel quoted him as saying: "Netanyahu is the one who postpones, evades and creates obstacles to reach an agreement."

This Hamas official explained: "The mediators know very well that Hamas has shown flexibility and positive thinking, has opened the way to reach an agreement and has overcome Israel's obstacles."

According to this report, al-Rashq stated: "Hamas welcomed what was stated in the Security Council resolution and the points in Biden's speech regarding the ceasefire and the withdrawal of the occupying army from the Gaza Strip and the exchange of prisoners, while Netanyahu agreed to them.

The Al Jazeera website quoted him as saying: "Netanyahu is lying when he says that he agrees with Israel's proposal as it is and with the reforms proposed by Hamas."

A member of the political bureau of the Hamas movement added: "The whole world knows that Netanyahu has put forward other demands and conditions that were not included in Israel's proposal and were not included in all the mediators' proposals during the entire round of negotiations, and what happened at the recent meeting in Rome.
