Afghanistan and China strengthened their cultural relations
Afghanistan's Ministry of Information and Culture held a meeting in Kabul today with a delegation from China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism with the aim of strengthening bilateral cultural and historical cooperation.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: The meeting was attended by Mawlawi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Culture and Art at the Ministry of Information and Culture, along with several ministry officials, and a delegation led by Mr. Li Qun, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China.
During the meeting, both sides discussed various topics, with a particular focus on mutual cooperation in cultural, scientific, and historical areas.
The Chinese delegation pledged to cooperate with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Information and Culture in the preservation, strengthening, and restoration of Afghanistan’s historical monuments and ancient sites. They also committed to enhancing the capacity of the ministry’s staff.
It is noteworthy that the Chinese delegation visited Kabul at the official invitation of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Information and Culture. Today, they toured various sections of the National Museum of Afghanistan.
The delegation is also scheduled to visit several other historical sites in Afghanistan, including the Mes Aynak archaeological site, during their trip./Bakhtar
