There is no threat caused by drugs from Afghanistan to the countries
The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior said that there is currently no threat from Afghanistan to the neighboring countries and the world caused by the drug phenomenon, he called for the cooperation of the international community to provide an alternative to drug cultivation for Afghan farmers.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdul Matin Qane, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, published an article on X channel and wrote that drugs are a global threat and the fight against this phenomenon requires the joint actions and struggle of countries and international organizations.
 
The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior added that the Islamic Emirate is committed to the fight against narcotics, and fortunately, it was able to remove the range of narcotics from Afghanistan in a short time and with limited resources.
 
Qane has stated that we can confidently say that currently there is no threat from Afghanistan to neighboring countries and the world due to the phenomenon of drugs.
 
He stated that international organizations should also cooperate with the Islamic Emirate in the field of providing facilities, especially alternative livelihoods for Afghan farmers.
 
Earlier, the United Nations Office of Crime and Narcotics said in a report that after the order of the authorities of the caretaker government of Afghanistan in connection with the prohibition of poppy cultivation, the cultivation of these substances has decreased by ninety-five percent.
