Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, announced the publication of the mass media law in the near future and added that this law is equal to Sharia and the principles of the Islamic Emirate.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, said in a meeting with journalists in Paktia that the previous law of public media is equal to Sharia and the principles of the Islamic Emirate, and with a few differences, it will soon be available.

He added that national interests and privacy are emphasized in this law, but some media operating abroad have crossed this border.

Acting Minister of Information and Culture has said: "There have not been many changes in that law, the concepts are almost the same and they are close to the Sharia and the principles you mentioned, and apart from those principles, no one has the right to enter the privacy of others. There is a bill that, God willing, will not take much time and what is in it guarantees national interests.

Meanwhile, a number of journalists said in this meeting that: "The sooner the media law is implemented, the easier it will be for journalists." Access to information is also an important issue that we must achieve in time."

It has been said that the Acting Minister of Information and Culture added in this meeting that he welcomes people's problems and demands in the media for the purpose of correcting and healthy criticism.
