Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: China's National Space Agency announced that the country's unmanned probe Chang-6 successfully landed on the dark side of the moon on Saturday, 12 Gemini, and will soon begin collecting samples from this part of the moon.
The Chang'e 6 probe has landed in the Antarctic-Aitken Basin; where it will make the first attempt to collect soil and rock samples from the rarely explored far side of the moon.
The probe will spend about two days collecting samples before returning to Earth.
China is the only country that has landed on this part of the moon.
