Putin started the fifth term of the presidency of Russia by taking the oath in the Kremlin Palace today.
The elected president of Russia was sworn in in a magnificent atmosphere with the presence of members of the government, parliament, judges of the Constitutional Court, other government officials and public figures. 2,600 people were invited to Putin's inauguration ceremony.
In this ceremony, Putin described the leadership of Russia as sacred and said: "United Russian people will overcome challenges together. We will win together."
He said that Russia does not refuse dialogue with Western countries.
Putin sincerely thanked Russian citizens in all regions of the country at the inauguration ceremony of the Russian presidency.
Meanwhile, after Putin was sworn in for the fifth term of the presidency, the Russian government resigned.
This process is included in the law of the Russian Federation. After the President takes office, the Cabinet of Ministers must resign, and after that, the Head of Government and the new Cabinet of Ministers will be appointed within two weeks.
