The President of Iran is going to Pakistan on a two-day visit tomorrow
The media of the Islamic Republic of Iran have reported that Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the president of this country, is going to leave for Pakistan on a two-day trip tomorrow, Monday, April 22.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Iranian media have reported that Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the president of this country, is going to visit Pakistan on a three-day trip from April 22 to 24.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has announced in a newsletter that during his visit to Pakistan, Mr. Raisi will meet with the President, Prime Minister and some Pakistani officials and discuss strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade, energy and agriculture.

Regarding the details of Ebrahim Raisi's trip to Pakistan, it has been said that during his 2-day trip, after being officially welcomed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, he will have a private meeting with "Shahbaz Sharif" and together with him, they will hold a joint meeting of the high-ranking delegations of the two countries.

According to IRNA, the president of Iran will also meet with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari during this trip, and in addition to that, he will also meet and talk with scholars, elites, businessmen and economic activists by traveling to some other cities of this country.

After the end of his visit to Pakistan, Raisi has a one-day trip to this Southeast Asian country on the official invitation of Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Wednesday morning. He will participate in the opening ceremony and the official start of operation of the "Umaaviya multi-purpose super project" including 2 dams and a 120 MW power plant built by Iranian contractors in this country.

It has been said that this multi-purpose project, all stages of consultation, design and construction were carried out by Iranian engineers, is one of the largest construction projects in Sri Lanka worth about 500 million dollars, which was financed by the government of this country and more than 400 engineers. Iranians have played a role in its construction.

After the general elections in Pakistan, this is the first visit of the president of Iran to this country.
