Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The meeting was attended by Daniel Anders, the former deputy representative of UNAMA and coordinator of humanitarian assistance for the organization; Ms. Isabelle, the head of OCHA’s office in Kabul; and Indrika Ratwatte, the new deputy of head of UNAMA and coordinator of humanitarian assistance for the organization.
The Acting Economy Minister emphasized that the United Nations should prioritize humanitarian projects for those in need, hunger-relief programs, encouraging and supporting small and medium-sized businesses, domestic production in agriculture, finance, and horticulture, and technical and vocational education.
The OCHA representative promised a development strategy for the coming year, with a particular focus on job-creation projects and programs in other sectors.
