Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): With the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, a new form of resistance was formed in the region.
In 1979, the seed of an Islamic realist movement was formed in Al-Qazaziq University, and the core of this organization was formed with young Palestinian students of the same university under the leadership of their professor, Fathi Ibrahim Abdul Aziz Al-Shaqaki.
"Fathi Shaghaqi" published the first book in Arabic language about the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and formed the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement under the influence of Imam Khomeini's views and officially announced the existence of the Islamic Jihad Movement in November 1981.
At the same time, there were a group of young Palestinian Muslims who, under the influence of the "Muslim Brotherhood" ideas, entered the field of struggle against the Zionist regime.
But what is the trend of the Muslim Brotherhood?
In 1928 AD, one of the supporters of the revival of the Islamic Ummah in Egypt named "Hasan al-Banna", under the influence of the teachings of Seyyed Jamal al-Din Asadabadi and Sheikh Muhammad Abdo, created a social movement whose primary goal was to provide an Islamic solution to problems. It was social and economic. But these problems could only be solved by entering the political arena.
In 1938, the Muslim Brotherhood entered the political arena with the aim of liberating Islamic countries and establishing an Islamic state, and over time its branches spread to all Islamic countries.
One of the main branches of the Muslim Brotherhood was established in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip.
In 1987, at the same time as the beginning of the first intifada, a group of Sunni Muslim youths, who had previously been fighting against the Zionist regime under titles such as "Al-Morabitun Ali Erz al-Isra" (Defenders of the Land of the Prisoners) or "Harakat al-Kifah al-Islami" (Islamic Struggle Movement) They announced the establishment of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas. The name "Hamas" is derived from the first letters of "Islamic Resistance Movement".
Hamas officially announced its existence with the beginning of the first intifada, an intifada from which the Zionists started negotiating with Palestinian compromisers to escape.
In its first operation, between 1987 and 1992, Hamas led the Zionist regime to the point of collapse and forced them to bring their forces from southern Lebanon into Palestine in order to escape the pressure they were suffering from the Lebanese resistance along with the Intifada. Instead of direct presence in Lebanon, choose indirect presence only through "Antoun Lahad" forces.
