Antonio Guterres: 136 UN employees have been killed in Gaza since October 7

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Despite the new resolution of the Security Council, Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, sees huge obstacles in the way of distributing humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, which is caused by the attacks of the Zionist regime.

Antonio Guterres also said that 136 UN staff were killed in the 75 days since the beginning of the Israeli attacks on Gaza on October 7, which is unprecedented.

The Secretary General of the United Nations believes that only a ceasefire can solve the "needs of the people of Gaza" and enable the distribution of the necessary aid.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization, announced on X (formerly Twitter): "The most important demand for the people of Gaza is an immediate ceasefire. "Hunger, famine and the spread of disease threaten Gaza widely."

"In the coming weeks, 10,000 children under the age of five will suffer from the deadliest form of malnutrition," UNICEF said in a statement.

The Palestinian resistance, led by the Hamas movement, carried out a unique operation on October 7th by attacking Zionist settlements in the Gaza Strip and captured dozens of Zionists. Experts consider this operation a strategic failure for the Zionist regime and the "legendary" army. This operation was the beginning of the occupation regime's brutal aggression against residential areas in the Gaza Strip, and these aggressions continued from October 7th to November 24th and after a one-week break on Friday, December 1st, they resumed again.

The Ministry of Health of Gaza announced on Friday that the number of martyrs of aggression in the Gaza Strip since October 7 has reached more than 20,000 people.
