Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Seyyed Hassan Mortazavi, the Deputy of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, met and talked with the Minister of Unforeseen Events of the Islamic Emirate, "Molaabas Akhund".
In this meeting, the Minister of Emergency Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Government appreciated the assistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in response to the Herat, Khost, and Paktika earthquakes and other assistance provided by Tehran to the Afghan nation in recent years amid international sanctions.
In this meeting, Seyyed Hassan Mortazavi, referring to the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting and helping the people of Afghanistan, stated that the Iranian people and officials have hosted millions of their Afghan brothers and sisters for years and under the harsh conditions of sanctions.
The deputy of the Iranian embassy in Kabul added: In the current situation resulting from the years of occupation of Afghanistan and the cruel sanctions imposed by the United States and the West against the people of this country, the Islamic Republic will stand by its brothers and sisters and the assistance of the Iranian people to the dear people of Afghanistan will continue.
It should be noted that in recent years, the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with other countries in the region, has sent its aid to this country at the same time as the Western sanctions, especially the United States, against the people of Afghanistan.
The presence of Iranian aid workers in the earthquakes of Herat, Khost and Paktika and the sending of public aid to the people affected by the earthquake in these areas has made the Islamic Republic of Iran to be registered as a good neighbor in the minds of the people of Afghanistan.
