Support for Afghan immigrants is the focus of the discussion between the representatives of the United States and the United Nations deputy for Afghanistan
The US Special Representative for Afghanistan met with the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations for Afghanistan and discussed the support for Afghan refugees and the humanitarian and economic situation in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, announced on X social network today (Wednesday, December 20) about his meeting with Andrika Retavati, the deputy UN special representative for Afghanistan and coordinator of humanitarian affairs.
 
He added: "We discussed the support of Afghan refugees and the humanitarian and economic situation in Afghanistan. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with UNAMA on these issues."
 
Mr West continued to say that Revatati brought a wealth of regional experience to an important job.
