The Migration Agency transferred 250 Afghan refugees from Pakistan to Britain

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on X social network that the transfer of these people shows a global effort to support Afghans displaced by the war.

 

Britain has pledged to transfer 20,000 qualified Afghan refugees to this country in four years.

 

The International Organization for Migration also said that after the Islamic Emirate regained control of Afghanistan in August 2021, it has provided the ground for the transfer and resettlement of at least 1,000 Afghan refugees in different countries.

 

It should be noted that with the government of Pakistan setting a one-month deadline for threatened asylum seekers who live in this country without documents and are waiting to be transferred to third countries, a number of countries including Germany, Great Britain, France and Canada have stopped their transfer process. has intensified.
