Iran welcomed the statement of the Security Council condemning the recent attack on the police station of this country
The Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations appreciated and welcomed the statement of the Security Council, which condemned the terrorist attack on the Rask police station in the southeast of Sistan and Baluchistan in the strongest terms.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Iran's representative office in the United Nations appreciated the statement of the Security Council condemning the terrorist attack in the city of Rask.
 
The Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that it appreciates and welcomes the statement of the Security Council, which has condemned in the strongest terms the cowardly terrorist attack on the Rask police station in the southeast of Sistan and Baluchistan of this country.
 
On Friday (December 15), armed attackers attacked the police headquarters in Rask district of Sistan and Baluchistan, Iran, and 11 police officers were martyred in this attack.
 
The Jaish al-Adl group has claimed responsibility for this attack.
 
Meanwhile, Iran's Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said yesterday during his visit to Rask police headquarters in Sistan and Baluchistan that the perpetrators of the recent incident in this city had entered Iran from the border of Pakistan.
 
Mr. Wahidi warned Pakistan and said: "Do not allow terrorist groups to build a nest in your country."
 
The Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic further added: "According to the investigations, this terrorist group entered the territory of Iran from the border of the neighboring country, and using the night position and the geographical conditions of the region, reached this headquarters and tried to kill these keepers of order and security. 
 
He stated: "We ask the government of Pakistan to protect and protect its borders and not allow terrorist groups to build a nest in this country."
 
Ahmad Vahidi also emphasized that with the efforts of the military, law enforcement and security forces, the perpetrators of this incident will definitely be punished for their actions and a harsh revenge will await them.
 
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, by publishing a statement in response to the recent attack on the police headquarters in Iran's Sistan and Baluchistan, has said that terrorism is a threat to the peace and security of the region and the world and must be dealt with by all means, including through bilateral cooperation and a region dealt with it.
