Prime Minister of Armenia: We reached an agreement on the principles of the peace treaty with the Republic of Azerbaijan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia and Azerbaijan have reached an agreement on the basic principles of a peace treaty, although the two countries are still far from agreeing on some things.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The two countries have been at odds for decades, especially over the breakaway region of Karabagh, which was recaptured by Baku's forces in September, causing mass migration of ethnic Armenians from it.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said progress has been made in talks on a peace treaty, although the two countries are still far from agreeing on some things.

Tas quoted Pashinyan in Yerevan as saying: "We have good and bad news about the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. It is good that the basic principles of peace with Azerbaijan have been agreed upon. "This happened through the mediation of Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, and as a result of my meetings with the President of Azerbaijan in Brussels."

"The most important bad news is that we still speak different diplomatic languages and often don't understand each other," Pashinyan added. "Armenia has also offered to exchange all Armenian prisoners with all Azerbaijani prisoners."
