Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The World Health Organization published a post on the X platform and said that this number is expected to increase significantly.
The World Health Organization had previously warned of the consequences of the lack of funds for providing health services to the needy people in Afghanistan.
This institution says that it needs another 125 million dollars to provide health services to the people of Afghanistan by the end of this year.
According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), 28.8 million people in Afghanistan need humanitarian assistance.
In its new request, the institution had asked for 2.43 billion dollars in funding and says that only about 108 million dollars of this amount of funding has been provided.
