Facilitating commercial relations between Kabul and Islamabad
In a meeting with the Deputy Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan, the Ambassador of Afghanistan in Islamabad emphasized on solving the problems of Afghan businessmen and drivers in transit routes and assured the other side of solving and creating facilities in trade relations with Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Afghan Embassy in Islamabad wrote on its X page that Sardar Ahmad Shakib, the acting head of the Afghan embassy, met with Mohammad Saleh Ahmad Farooqi, the deputy minister of trade of Pakistan.
 
In this meeting, Ahmad Shakib reminded of the problems faced by Afghan traders and drivers in the Torkham, Boldak, Kharlachi, and other routes, as well as the delay in Karachi port and other problems, and said that these challenges are obstacles to the development of trade between the two countries.
 
It is stated in the newsletter that Mr. Shakib requested the Deputy Minister of Commerce of Pakistan to solve these problems.
 
In this meeting, the Pakistani side gave explanations regarding these problems and assured to solve them as soon as possible.
 
The Embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad has also written that in this meeting, the two sides, understanding the importance of proper and beneficial trade relations, emphasized on the implementation of commitments regarding the solution of the mentioned problems and the creation of facilities in the trade process between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
