Turkish drone attack on Sulaimania, Iraq

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Iraqi media reported today Sunday (August 6, 2023) about the Turkish drone attack on Chamchal area, located in Sulaimania province.
 
"Baghdad Ilyum" news site reported: A Turkish drone bombarded an area belonging to Chamchal region and left casualties.
 
The initial result of this bombing indicates that one civilian was killed and another was injured.
 
During the past months, these attacks were repeated with more casualties. Recently, Iraqi sources announced that the Turkish military targeted areas of Sulaymania in the Kurdistan region of Iraq with drone attacks.
 
These attacks, which took place on the borders of "Maut" region and probably against elements of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), resulted in the death and injury of several people.
 
Turkey has been violating Iraq's sovereignty for a long time under the pretext of confronting the terrorist group known as the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is on the terrorist list of Turkey, the United States and the European Union, and continues its attacks despite warnings and protests from Baghdad.
