Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate says that 32 Afghan prisoners were released from Zahedan prisons in Iran.

Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, tweeted on Wednesday, July, that as a result of the efforts of the Afghan Embassy in Iran and the country's consulate in Zahedan, 32 people, including children, were released from Al-Ghadir prison in Zahedan.

The Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate stated that the reason for the arrest of these Afghan citizens is that they do not have residence and legal documents in this country.

According to Mr. Takel, these prisoners, who were detained by the Zahedan police some time ago, were returned to the country through Nimroz after their release.

This is while the Ministry of Immigrant Affairs of the Islamic Emirate announced the release of 80 Afghan immigrants from Pakistani prisons the other day and added that these 80 people were in the prisons of this country due to lack of legal documents.

It is worth mentioning that 56 of these migrants were transferred to Kabul through the Spin Boldak border and 24 of them were transferred to Kabul through the Torkham Road border.
