The new media law in Afghanistan will be ratified soon
Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister of Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate, has announced that this ministry has sent the new media law of Afghanistan to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate for ratification, and it will be made available to media owners soon.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Maulavi Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister of Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate, stated this in a meeting with the local officials of the ministry in Nangarhar and a number of journalists on Monday (February 27). This ministry creates a new law for Afghan media.
 
Farahi has said that this law has been sent to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate for approval and will soon be made available to media owners.
 
The Minister of Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture has emphasized that the Islamic Emirate requires the media to respect Islamic values, Afghan culture and national interests.
 
Mohajer Farahi has stated: He will employ the journalists who were unemployed after the Islamic Emirate's takeover in appropriate departments.
 
This is despite the fact that Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, declared the previous government's public media law to be enforceable about a year ago.
