Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The officials of the Ministry of Finance say that they are trying to get the government companies to resume their activities in order to provide services to the people.
Ahmed Wali Haqmal, the spokesman of the ministry, says that due to the positive changes that have been made in the last 18 months in the state-owned companies, in the near future dozens of state-owned companies will start providing their services in various fields.
Meanwhile, members of the private sector also say that resuming the activities of state-owned companies will lead to healthy competition in the country's domestic market.
Mirwais Hajizada, a member of the private sector, says: We consider the recent decision of the Ministry of Finance to be a good move because it will re-establish public companies.
He added: On the one hand, the mafia and prices are taken, and on the other hand, work is provided for the people, and the directorate of oil and gas, Silo, Ariana companies, transportations, etc. will be activated.
On the other hand, economic experts say that the beginning of providing services of state-owned companies in the case of regular management, besides creating employment opportunities, also plays an important role in the country's economic stability.
It should be remembered that after the fall of the republican system, the activities of state-owned companies in the country have been stopped.
