Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Herat: the cooperation between the media and the government has improved and efforts are being made to continue these meetings in the future.
Mr. Meshaal also emphasized: holding such meetings in the current situation is a serious need to make relations even better.
On the other hand, Salem Sadid, one of Herat's journalists who participated in this meeting, says: these meetings should have a positive result to provide more work space for the media.
Sedid also noted: In the past meetings, there were talks but no results were obtained. In this meeting, it was decided that after these meetings, serious measures will be taken to solve the challenges faced by journalists.
He added: Compared to the past, there is no working space for the media, and reporters and media cannot access information as they want.
At the same time, Hamidullah Mutawakel, the spokesperson of the Herat governor, also says that the creation of the safety committee among journalists and media in this province has been effective and has been able to strengthen the relations between the government, the people and the media.
He pledged that Herat local administration supports this committee and is ready for any kind of cooperation.
