Journalists of Balkh demanded to facilitate media activities
A number of journalists of Balkh province and media officials in the coordination meeting between the government and the media wanted to facilitate the journalistic activity.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Mawlavi Zabihullah Noorani; At the end of the coordination meeting between the government and the media in Mazar-e-Sharif city, the head of information and culture of Balkh province told Ava reporter: In this meeting, the framework and duties of the media became clearer than in the past, and we also heard the problems of journalists and the media in order to solve these problems, serious and urgent measures should be taken and in this meeting, all Balkh province media and journalists had a free discussion with the government.
 
He added that the media in Balkh province have always been active and have performed well since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, and the cooperation of the local government of Balkh with the media has been provided.
 
Mawlavi Noorani admitted that the local government of Balkh obliged all the bodies of this province to introduce an active communication authority for the media so that information is available to journalists and media in a timely manner, and we have achieved good results in this regard.
 
He added that the media can receive and publish information from government bodies without restrictions and self-censorship, and there are no obstacles in the field of media activity.
 
Mawlavi Sardar Mohammad Heydari, also attended the meeting and told the media that according to the words of the leader of the Islamic Emirate, the media translate the activities of the government for the world and put an end to the gap between the government and the people. Media activity is very important and significant in a society.
 
He encouraged the media to work honestly and said that one of the goals of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate is to strengthen the media so that they expose the West's absurd and corrupt propaganda against Afghanistan to the general public, and women who work in the media observe the Islamic hijab.
 
Latif Sohak, the head of the journalists' immunity committee in northern Afghanistan, also says that the problems of journalists and the media have been reduced with the coordination of government officials, and the recent action of the local government of Balkh is praiseworthy for introducing a spokesperson for the media, and we want this action to be implemented in all of Afghanistan.
 
It is worth mentioning that Mrs. Rahima Yazdani, head of the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) office in Balkh, was the only woman present at this meeting and her presence was welcomed by journalists.
