Meeting of Mullah Baradar and National Security Advisor of Uzbekistan / Tashkent meeting to be held in the near future
The Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs, in his meeting with the Acting Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, met with the National Security Advisor of Uzbekistan to emphasize the importance of completing almost all semi-final projects in the field of electricity and aviation.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan last night (June 19) issued a statement saying that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan met with Abdul Aziz Kamilov, National Security Advisor and Representative of the President of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, strengthening Afghanistan's ties with the international community, launching urgent major economic projects and joint cooperation.
 
Abdulaziz Kamilov said in his visit that the new page of relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan has been opened with the sovereignty of the IAEA and it is a pleasure to talk about these relations, especially with regard to strengthening the economy and strengthening the common economic system.
 
He said Tashkent would host an international meeting on Afghanistan in July this year, to which a high-level delegation from the Islamic Emirate was also invited.
 
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar welcomed the forthcoming meeting in Tashkent and considered it an important step in establishing relations.
 
Mullah Baradar has stated that Uzbekistan will soon complete half of all other projects in the field of electricity and aviation in Peshawar, including the Kabul-Mazar-e-Sharif railway line.
 
He said that the National Security Advisor of Uzbekistan had arrived in Kabul the previous day and had separate meetings with Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Chief of Staff and Amir Khan Mottaki, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate.
