Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate met yesterday evening (May 31
st) with Mir Shafiee, Special Representative of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development for Afghanistan, The two sides discussed strengthening border infrastructure, ports, industrial parks and trade balance.
Shafiee said: "As Afghanistan buys a number of Iranian goods, the Islamic Republic of Iran also buys Afghan products, which can be regulated by bilateral management and agreements."
The Special Representative of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran for Afghanistan added: Chabahar port is at the service of Afghan traders with better and more facilities, they can use this port in the field of freight transportation.
Jamal, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate, while welcoming Shafiee, pointed to the commonalities between the two countries and stressed the need to further strengthen Iran-Afghanistan relations.
Jamal added: despite the developments; the relations between the two countries are good and based on good neighborhood, and these relations, fortunately, will remain strong in the fields of economy, trade and investment.
