Eight killed as car bomb hits convoy of Afghan governor of Logar

The incident happened in Safid Sang area as the governor, Anwar Ishaqzai, was travelling from Kabul to Logar province, provincial police spokesman, Shapoor Ahmadzai, said.
At least eight people were killed while nearly 10 injured, he said adding casualties were members of security forces.
The governor survived the bombing, he said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
