AVA- Two guards of governor for Ghazni were killed as they clashed with each other in the central-eastern province, police said Wednesday.
Mohammad Zaman, the police chief of Ghazni, said that the security personnel, one of them a sergeant, fought each other with arms around 2:00a.m.
“Initially, they had been engaged in a physical encounter before it turned to an armed exchange, as a result of which both were killed” he said.
It remains unclear why the two battled each other.
Sources in the provincial council, however, said that the two were killed by an attacker who fled the area following the act.
An investigation was launched into the incident, police said.
