Afghan Forces' Massive Operations Leave 57 Armed Militants Killed

 In past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 10 Counter-Terrorism joint operations to clear some of the areas from terrorists and enemies of peace and stability of Afghanistan.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA),The operations were conducted in Laghman, Uruzgan, Helmand, Nangarhar, Paktiya, Kunduz, Ghazni and Sar-e-Pul provinces, as a result 57 armed militants were killed including 16 Daesh terrorists, 22 wounded and seven others were arrested by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces.

Also, during these operations, joint forces discovered and confiscated light and heavy rounds of ammunition and 20 different types of IEDs.

Two vehicles destroyed as well.

The Ministry of Interior Affairs appreciates the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces operations to eliminate the terrorists' sanctuaries and is a good step toward improving the security and stability.
